In his remarks, he underscored the enduring bond between Africa and its global diaspora, noting that while distance may separate people from the continent, it should never diminish their sense of responsibility towards its growth and transformation. He described Africa's diaspora as one of the continent's greatest strategic assets—bringing together a wealth of knowledge, global experience, innovation, influence and networks when intentionally connected to opportunities across Africa, can accelerate sustainable development and unlock shared prosperity.

He further encouraged Africans across the world to see their success not as an individual achievement, but as an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the continent that shaped their identity, values and aspirations.

"No matter where life takes us, may we always remain connected to the continent that first gave us our identity, our values and our dreams. Africa has given us far more than we sometimes realise.Building Africa has always been, and must remain, a shared responsibility " — Alex Apau Dadey, Group Executive Chairman, KGL Group
